**Urgent question**

I am sorry if this has been asked here before, I did several searches and didn't find anything with an answer: Is there a hack available to mack the Date of Birth Field required? I really need to find out as it is easy to get around the COPPA requirements by just lying about your age and then not inputting a date of birth.
IF someone could please help me with this I would be very grateful.

In your admin cp "Add" Userprofile Field (sorry if it isn?t the right term I have a german Board and have to translate :))

There you can add a new filed "Birthdate" and make it required for registration but it is also easy to enter a wrong date there :D :D :D

I know about this part,..what I was hoping is to "adjust "the settings on the existing date of birth field on the registration and profile area. maybe a hack for changing the requirement code and the ability to "hide" in public profile so that just the admin sees it.??? I really wish I could do it myself, but I am not that good with php yet and unforunately require the aid of more experienced persons.
