Sharing DB

Me and a friend we are both using vBulletin and we plan to merge our forums, so my question is possible that 2 forums hosted in 2 diferent servers use the same mysql database? A post in my forum can be see in his forum too.

Set the $servername in the config.php file.

Also please go to this (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/vbulletin.org.php) page and enter your username, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page)

I assume so but was thinking maybe since they share the same db...

Yeah, I've always liked the idea of merging two databases for vB :)

yeah.. i would like to do it for a network that i'm helping out with cept for you'd need to buy vbulletin for each and evreyone.. lol

we just all share a board
