Moving posts/threads to new vbulletin

mySQL still gives me a headache... I'm about to install a new version of vBulletin and I'm going to rehack it totally. My first version wasn't really hacked at all. What I'm wanting to know... can I save the mySQL dump from the original board, then upload it to the newly hacked board, or is it going to screw the tables? I just don't want to use user info/posts.

it all depends on the hacks you installed. if you did mostly file hacks, it shouldn't make much difference. if you altered your MySQL table, it just might.
