I have a site http://mydomain.com/ consisting of a forum (vbulletin v 2.2.1) and lots of more "static" documents, beeing discussed in the forum.
The forum http://mydomain.com/forum is also searched from the main page (not only from the forum). Is there any way that I could get the search.php to also include all the (other) documents placed at my site, http://mydomain.com/differentdirectories in the same search, documents that are not posts in the database, but simply html pages placed in different directories under the domain?
So what I am after is a search routine that allow users to write the keyword once, and then get results both from the forum and the rest of the website, that links to either the forum or the website.
I am not sure if this is possible. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
