If you can afford to pay $85 for a vBulletin liscence then you can pay $5 a month on hosting, though as you say you have vb 2.2.0 and not 2.2.1 you probably don't have a liscence, sooo

visit

http://vbulletin.com/members/vbulletin.org.php and fill in the details.

PPN, I know this does not really relate to this post, but I did not see a need to start a new post for it.

I see your server details at the bottom of your signature, how much is that costing you on a monthly basis? Also who is hosting the server or co-locating it for you?

Thanks,

This is coming from a person that does not have that much so bare with me, but how in the world do you raise $400 a month for such a thing? The reason I ask is because I am interested in going dedicated after having many many different hosts (I will be checking out PW since you mention it) and I do not have that much to spend since I have nothing coming in from my site right now (it is small - about 170 members).

Do you allow advertising, take donations, or what to make that much for a server on a monthly basis?

Thanks

I simply sell php scripts and do custom ones to raise funds, I also do hosting accounts on the server to make cash, but not so many that it compromises the server in any way.

Oh ok, well if I could program a little better, I would probably go for selling scripts :). I will have to check them out and see how much a decent/cheap one is to start with and go from there. Right now with 170 members it is not large enough to make a move, but I am thinking ahead a little.

Thanks for the help PPN
