Password Reminder - Email

I am finishing up switching my site from nuke to vbp and have "imported" all users to vb but since there is differences in password encryption etc. I changes all the users password - randomly generateed password for each user. I would like to send a email out via vb to notify/remind users of there username/password and provide them with a link to change there password - link to cpanel.

How can I send out a password reminder?? :confused:

I don't think you can if they are encrypted, although you can give them a link to the password reset link using your vBulletin control panel and the e-mail users option.

Is there a reset link or just a forgot my password link? I also thought about making them all not yet authorized so I could treat them like new users.

I know there was a random password generation hack that emailed the password to the user after they sign up but I thought maybe I could use that to do this but haven't had a chance to install it and play with it.
