The point of this hack is to add a second Header and Footer template. The reason for this is when you have your main page, or any page that has elements only it will have.
Say you wanted a column added but only on your main page and no other? This hack would be the answer. The only other way would be to have a whole new template just for 1 page.
DEMO: http://www.metalforums.com
Notice how the main page has a right column set up, but all other pages do not.

in global.php and your template names:templatesused.='gobutton,(your templates here),header2,footer2';
hmm that's wierd... if i add a second header footer, it will not show me the code:<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: header2 -->not that is important... but i'm extremly picky. i'll look into it. if anyone knows why, pls let me know. ty
ignore the previous message.. hehehee... it's me. i use my template installer-remover to add(remove) templates. i forgot a little line in the code. ;)

Dragging up an old one here....anyone know if this will work in 2.3, or if there is another hack that allows for more than 2 headers/footers per template?
