Agree to terms before posting in a particular forum.

I have a consumer watch area, which is helpful for the industry I represent, but it is open to people/customers abusing their freedom of speech. If someone lies about a company being bad for the sake of getting what they want, it doesn't help consumers, just that person, and affects a company.

I would like to be able to require before each post in that particular forum, the person agree to some particular terms (sorta like the agreement when registering, but different text). I need people to rethink the approach they are taking when posting remarks against any business in this case.

Any help would be appreciated.

If your using 2.0 you should upgrade ASAP,

2.0 has a security hole that could allow people to hack your board.

Oh btw where do you want it to display the agreement? Do you want the agreement to be on the posting screen where you type your message or show it before you get to the posting screen?

Prefer to have them hit a button to accept the agreement and then move to the posting screen.

Thanks for your efforts black. This probably won't do for my needs, as I don't want to slow people down in my other forum areas. I just want to affect this one forum which I need people to understand that their comments can take a serious tole on a business, and that their comments are thiers and not necessarlily the opinion of the forum, etc, etc.... It's a way for me to limit legal exposure, cut down on people saying things to get what they want out of a company (black mail), etc.
