Ok I'm looking to create a hack. I have no idea what I want to do, and even more unhelpful, I know nothing about PHP. I've actually begun learning PHP, but I really want to make a hack. If yall could give me some sort of idea as to a very easy hack to start with, I'd be most appreciative. I thought about creating a "Special User" hack, denoting a special user of your forum, however, MarkB has created this hack as the "Contributor" hack. Thanks in advance. :)

The ability to set a poll as Hidden, so normal users can't view its results until you set Hidden to no.
I was gonna do this today but it's boring. ;)

On second thought, I'm a bit stumped. All this PHP code is makin my eyes water hah...I can read it, and I think I understand what it's sayin, but I'm not even sure where to begin. I went to poll.php and had a nosey in it. But again, seeing as how I have no PHP knowledge at all, I have not a clue as to where to even begin. I'll keep playin around with this as I do want to figure this out. I hate leavin things unfinished. Say, while I'm at it, you know of any place to learn PHP? Been to php.net and d/l their manual, bit confusing. Also went to http://www.beginnersphp.co.uk/ and learned a lot more from there. Any other handy sites for a wee beginner like meself that don't know a single thing about it? Anyways, thanks and I'll keep workin on this :)

Don't learn off the manual right to begin with - use it later for looking up functions and correct syntax.
http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/programming/php/ is nice I guess. :)
I heard Kevin Yank's book from SitePoint.com is great too.
