I apologize sincerely for posting on the wrong site, but I'm really desperate.I just need someone to talk me down...

I was unaware that my credit card expired and so my bulletin cloud site has been removed. I can't even add or update my information on the site. I try to install a new CC# and it just says that there's now account available?! I've tried every way possible...

Please tell me that they didn't erase my account for only 1 month of service? Is there an employee that can help me in anyway possible? I know that I have to wait until Monday to speak to someone.

I don't have a backup.

I appreciate your help.

vBulletin does not monitor these forums for support. You would need to contact them directly via your hosting account for assistance.

I'd be interested to hear the outcome of this though, for one month of missed payment I'd expect account suspension, not immediate deletion.

z3r0,

Yesterday and email came through:

Dear david alberts,

Payment for your cloud licence xxxxxxx (xxxxxx.net) is now due.

We have again attempted to take the payment of from your registered credit card today, but the payment request failed.

Please login to your cloud console and re-enter your credit card details, we will try again in approximately 24 hours.

Thank you,

The vBulletin Cloud Team.

I was then able to add a CC# and it seems to be working. Actually it was working prior to me paying this morning?!?! I'm not sure if someone from the VBulletin team showed pity on me... Anyway, they did send me a link to download an archive of my site, which you will have 30 days to download it.

Woohoo, I'm back! Thank guys

At the very very bare minimum you should get a DB dump (aka backup) noting the VB version as well as any addons used. Best scenario is to get a copy of ALL files and the DB. My site is backed up daily, and a copy sync'd to a separate cloud service then a copy sync'd down to my NAS. This way there are 3 copies at all times available.
