how can I hide posts

How can I hide new posts from private forums whch are showing in search results?

I have just installed the wonderfull hack from Bane (vbstats)

There is a setting in vbstats config to exclude forums.

yeah I saw that setting and changed, but still the same every forum are showing up as always
