I run 3 boards on vB 4.2.4 and I constantly have members saying the password reset function does not work. Does anyone know why, is there a fix?

Have you tried it on your or a test account? I find many times it ends up in junk/spam folders. I added wording to note such on the password reset screen.

No I mean the password reset just doesn't work, the email comes.

Make sure all your templates are up to date or try with the default style.

I appreciate the response, but no it is not a template issue.
Is there anything else you know of that could cause this?

You'll get users email clients that break the link in the email, yes it happens & it is not an issue of vbulletin.
It basically breaks the string & puts part of the reset link on two lines.
Have them forward you the email, so you can see what it did.
