log into forums from remote site...

REQ: Ability to log into forums via a different site on the server. IE: I want users to be able to log in through a form on the main page, and it log them into forum! (I dunno if that makes sense...) :stupid:

You can use the same form vBulletin has, just make sure you change the path to the member.php script.
This can work from two domains of course.

the problem with the separate domain is that I am unable to get it to recognize the member when they return. This is driving me nuts.

Any ideas on how to make it work?

That's because of the cookies.
