How to Set Special Forum Posting Requirements

Hey folks. I have a forum area on my website that has some minimum posting requirements before a regular registered member is able to post a new thread or post a reply to an existing thread.

I believe it's either a minimum number of posts...a minimum amount of reputation...or both. I haven't adjusted this in a while...and for the life of me I can't remember how it's done.

Can someone please remind me how this is done?

You need to create a new usergroup with the permissions you want users to have when they reach those criteria and then create a usergroup promotion from the restricted group to the permitted group.

I don't really want to create something new...the forum area I'm talking about already exists...it's been around for years. All I want to do is view, verify, and modify (as necessary) the restictions.
