Pluh News Hack Help [Archive]

Hope someone can help me with this.

I was running the pluh news hack on version 2.0.3 of VB. We decided to reinstall the forums from scratch because of some problems we were having,and because we were completely remodeling the site. We are now installing the hacks back into the new 2.2.1 VB forums. Pluh News was the first one attempted, and it is now not working. the PluhNews.php shows, but all you get is this (http://www.3dhq.net/forums/PluhNews.php). The news will not show up in the page. I don't know what I am doing wrong, as I got this working really quickly last time(great hack!) but now, It won't. Is there a know problem with the new version of VB and the PluhNews hack? Thank in advance for you help guys.

check your Pluh config file. Make sure the forumid is still the same and that all the info in the config is still correct.

I just looked at your site. Pluh is looking for forumid of 1 and your news forumid is 3

well, I thought I had them set up for "1" but I tried setting it to 3, and that did not help either. I have the Category that the news forums are under set to no posting, is that a problem? Also, since is is the first Category, and the News forum is the first one, does it matter that they are both "1" since the Category takes preference anyway?

Ok, apparently, the forum id was 4. I have no idea why that is, but it is. Thanks for you help.
