Hello guys,

Our company is very active on our forums, lots of team members participate forum discussions and our clients use the forum as a support portal.

When the community was smaller we haven't got much issues to manage the forums but year after year it's getting bigger and bigger and we are already in the situation where we cannot easily reply on every thread and post.

We are looking for some tools for forum management like:


A tool that shows all the open threads from specific time interval without any replies.
This is already possible via Filter tool but only works per Forum section which is not very convenient for us since we got lots of sections. We need a more general approach which operates on the whole forum not only on specific section.

Advanced search has option for that but on our side it doesn't work as expected. It does something but it not what we expect for sure, threads are not arranged by the number of replies at all.

Another thing we need is a tool that would mark the threads as read if they are read by another team member. This is needed since we very often overlap each other and we lose valuable time on multiple colleagues cause they look the same thing.
Would be great if there is a tool that shows that the thread is being monitored by another team member.

A tool that would allow us to attach notes to threads/posts visible for moderators only.
Very often we need to attach links to specific treads but we don't want to show those to regular users.

Contact Support button which fires an email and includes current thread link.
We very often got emails that client mentioned that he posted something on the forums but forgot to include a link to that thread.



I'm posting those initially here to find out if there is already something similar developed.
If not I'll move it to the Modification Request section.
