custom BB code doesn't get the letter case of the tag right

I have some custom BB code where the tag is the greek letter delta: δ

Only, when i click on the button, the capital letter delta (Δ) is inserted instead.

On top of that, the tag will only work with the lower case δ

a) Is there a way that the lower case letter gets inserted?

b) Is there a way to have both δ and Δ work for this code?

Well good sir, an example of your bbcode "code" would help us, help you ;).

Off the bat though, I'd suggest two individual bbcodes but then you would have two different buttons in the editor (if adding in custom bbcode button) otherwise it should be fine having two different bbcodes, make one tag slightly different and call it a day :cool:.

the thing is, why does it change my tag from δ to Δ when i will treat them then differently, like different tags.
