Hi everyone! I'm new here at vBulletin.org! Nice Site!
Eva2000 told me I had to take a look over here! So here I am!
I have this little problem!

I want my vBulletin version 2.2.0 to be for members only. When guests arrives on the forum they should be able to see the Homepage (forum index). But if they click on one of the forums, for example "Latest News", they should get the logon / register screen.

I tried to manage this by editing the user groups but that did not work at all. I could make the index visible for the guests but if they clicked on a forum they would get the message that the forum had no threads in it. I want the logon / register screen to apear instead.

The rest; Calendar, CP, Memberslist, Search must be also set for members only.

Does this already exists? If not, can someone please create this option! I would really love it!

Access masks can be used to do the restricting access to see the forum threads, I also think you can restrict access to the calender just not sure how.

If you've tried this and its not working make sure access masks are enabled in options.

How do I apply this on an entire user group?

I did it this way:

Under "User Groups and Permissions" - "Modify" - "Unregistered / Not Logged In" (eg)

Set "Can view board" to YES.
Set "Can view others' threads" to YES

And then under: (this is the magic part)
Under "User Groups and Permissions" - "Modify forums" - Forum you want to restrict viewing of - "Unregistered / Not Logged In" (eg) - "edit"

Enable the "Use custom settings:" option.
And set All setting options to NO.

Youll need to do this for every usergroup in every category.

Hope you get it working, or find an easier way..
