vBulletin 4.2.4 requires PHP 5.5.0+ and MySQL 5.0.0+.

vBulletin 4.2.4 requires PHP 5.5.0+ and MySQL 5.0.0+.
How to retreat the step and get back to 4.2.3?
First ask your host if they can upgrade PHP to 5.5 or higher.
If they can't, restore your files/database from any backups you made before the upgrade.
If you did not create backups, you can try to download old files from vBulletin and overwrite them on your site, but I can't guarantee that it will work.
