i am sure that i am not the only one that is wondering how you made the new page on the site. Maybe a little advice or and tuturial on how to do something like that would be great

I'm not kidding, I'm getting so many PMs and e-mails about the front page, it's starting to get on nerves. :(

I posted most of the code somewhere in these forums, do a search.
You'll find the avatar thing, new posts since your last visit, and probably some others.
