Problem with the vB Editor

I have a problem when I quote someone at my forum, that I can type a space.

So I will have the quote there and it will look like this:

this is a test

Okaythisismyanswer
______

I can't type space...
Just when I go to "extended editor"...

What is wrong?`

You don't have to disable the WYSIWYG editor. When replying with quote, just hit Return before you begin typing.
