Can't press space in Quick Reply

For both PM's and posts where I want to perform a QUOTED quick reply, I cannot use the space bar.
It's very weird.

Copy & pasting the text I want to use with spaces fixes the issue until I reload the page.

vBulletin: 4.2.3 PL2

Any idea?
