Howdy folks!

I've been pondering about how to adjust the layout of my forum, and came up with an idea of creating a .php page via the tutorial that Lynne (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228112) has created and then, if possible, setting it to display one of the forum categories, as a means to declutter the index page.

Is this possible, and if so, how could I go about doing it?

We already use vBAdvanced to provide a static homepage (https://www.alexandria-ns.com/cmps_index.php). I've never managed to quite get to grips with it, since everytime I go to edit said page, it appears to not want to load the editor for it.

Then what you are after is at your finger tips.
Read up on how to do it on vbadvance.com. It is really simple.
You can add side columns on any page with the click of a few buttons as well.

I'm afraid that I'm only finding things for 3.8 that do not actually work for 4.2.2, and given that vBA ceased to be a thing two years ago I'm not optimistic of being able to use those methods.
