Just got my template back from Sultan Themes (http://www.sultantheme.com/). They offer a conversion service for a really reasonable price. Here's a sneak peek, and you can visit my site here to take a further look: Christian forums (https://www.christforums.org)

Enjoy,
William

Not too bad but I'm personally not a fan of so much padding everywhere around the forum sections. I like compact. Seems a bit odd that the last post is under the forum description in the middle, with padding on top/left/right.

I like how he works, I've actually recommended him to a few folks and also to URLJet for some style work, he always does GREAT work and follows through to a T.

@shimei, how is vBulletin 5?

Love it.

The only thing I was battling was two months ago I had to increase my server resources by 4 gigs from 2 gigs to a total of 6 gigs of ram. There was no apparent increase in traffic. Turns out Vbulletin has a fix for too many queries that will be implemented in 5.2.5.

BUT, I just received an email that my host is increasing 2 more gigs of ram for free for a total of 8. They found an issue with their server setup after an update where they needed to increase the power of the server .... . so I'm now unclear as why I had to upgrade or let the server scale up. Two updates Vb and Server leaves me in the dark without certainty as to which or both that lead to the increase.

Other than that I really love Vbulletin 5. I had at one point Vb4 but, really, that feels outdated after using Vb 5. I haven't an issue with mods either, having found Glenn an x developer, and Replicant that are knowledgeable in modding Vb 5.

My forum is completely finished at this point other than future updates, I'm pretty much going to leave it alone.

I'm so glad I went with Vbulletin 5 rather than Xenforo. Mainly, because, quite frankly, I don't like the cult like following of Xenforo.

Thanks for asking, Dave
And have a pleasant day,
William

$199.00. And I just paid 30.00 dollars for the update to 5.2.5. Here's the service: https://www.sultantheme.com/product/convert-old-forum-to-vbulletin-5-or-xenforo/
