Your Customer Number is the string of numbers and letters used as the login user name for the vBulletin Members' Area and is supplied via email following your purchase. This is not a vb.org question, but one for vbulletin.com.

If you login, using your e-mail & password, you will find your customerid displayed in the members area.

True, but if you have never logged in before, you will first be asked to set up a Security Question and Answer and then you will be taken to the screen where your customerid is displayed.
