Hey guys,
I'm currently having an issue with Latest Activity. It is only showing new topics but not recent replies. After fighting around with it for almost a day, I can't seem to figure it out.
Can anyone help me with this?

Click Filter and choose New Topics Off. You can set that as default by editing the module in Sitebuilder mode.

Thank you, The filter option is there.
Is there a way to show all topics and replies rather than just Topics OR replies?

What did you mean exactly by show all topics and replies? If New Topics Off filter is selected, it displays an activity stream where the latest posts (with the latest reply, or comment or the starter post itself if no reply or comment yet) display on top.

For some reason it only shows replies, I had to use a recent post module to show the posts rather than JUST replies.

Were you referring to the Latest Activity tab (not Latest Topics module)? Based on your screenshot, the Latest Activity tab displays replies (first one) and the starter posts (2nd one). Isn't that what wanted? If not, you have to elaborate more on what you exactly meant by "show posts rather than JUST replies".

Sorry about that, let me be a little more specific.
I want to rid the "Latest Topics" Section on the left and Merge it with the "Latest Activity" section.
Meaning, Latest Activity will show "Latest Replies and Topics" merged into 1 screen without having to use the filter option.
because as it stands currently, Latest Activity only shows either "Latest Replies" OR "Latest Topics" depending on the filter.

The Latest Activity tab (New Topics Off) is designed to display a single latest update for each latest post.
Let's say User A started a topic named "Topic 1" in Forum A.
Latest Activity tab will show:
User A started a topic Topic 1 in Forum A.
If User B replied to that topic, the latest activity will show:
User B replied to Topic 1 in Forum A
You wouldn't see both entries for a single topic/thread at the same time
User B replied to Topic 1 in Forum A
User A started a topic Topic 1 in Forum A
because only the latest update for each topic/thread is shown in the Latest Activity tab when New Topics filter is set to Off. Displaying a separate entry for starter post aside from the replies for the same topic will be redundant as the link to the starter post is also displayed for "replied to" entries.

because only the latest update for each topic/thread is shown in the Latest Activity tab when New Topics filter is set to Off.
I see. so what your saying is simply, no. There isn't a way to merge them like in the image below.
So, just to clarify, there is no way of achieving this. I am explaining it a little better in an image below.
Moving the Red Box to the red line, below the Reply (Green). So that way the latest activity is one constant feed. w/o having to use the filter tab to swap between Topics and replies.

If this is what you are saying, it upsets me a little bit. I find it redundant to have to select an option in a filter or have a new block for latest Topics. When you could just have it live feed both.
Example:
User 1 Starts a Topic
User 2 Replies to the topic
User 1 Replies to the reply
User 3 looks at latest activity
User 3 views Activity like so:
1- Reply To Reply
2- Reply To Topic
3- Created Topic

You understood it right. There is no way to do what you want in the default software.
But IMO, what you want is redundant. Imagine a topic has 10 recent updates. So the activity stream will display 10 entries for the same single topic instead of just one entry which is the latest reply or comment. Multiply that with say 10 topics so that means the stream would have 100 updates for just 10 topics instead of having only 10 updates for 10 topics. I think that would be confusing for users.

I go to a forum that uses the format I am speaking of. It is easier to just scroll down and see what people are talking about with 1 window rather than looking at 2 or selecting filters.
Ohh well. If I knew anything about development I would just try it. However I'm not educated enough in XML or even Vbulletin to know what I am doing, Thanks for the help. I greatly appreciate you taking your time for me.
Here's a Screen shot of what I mean.
