Post Stars

I don't know if this has been made or already or not. But I think it's a good idea.

It would be put between location and posts in postbit. For every 10th post you get a yellow star, and for every 100th post you get a red star and for every 1000th post you get a blue star. :)

Do a search for the stars hack and the Galaga Hack ... they should be what your looking for.

We did something sort of similar with just user titles at our board. Making User titles display stars that increased with post count. No hacking needed.

None of those hacks seem to be what i'm looking for...

let's take an example:
a user has 56posts then he has 5 yellow stars..another user has 180 posts that user has 1 red star and 8 yellow stars....This should be quite simple to do, but i'm not a coder myself so...:)

Anyway, as SWFans said, you could do this easily without hacking by editing the user titles in your Admin CP ... just assign a user title to a particular number of posts, then a <br> tag and then the <img> links to the images you want for that particular post count below it ... it takes time, but it's easier and as I said, no need to hack ;)

ok, guess I won't be doing it the easy way. I know that it is easy, becuase a guy I know coded this earlier...only a few lines of code...:)
