Hi all,
I just upgraded to 423.
As I am new to this, I do appreciate your patience.
The first 2 things I noticed so far as shown from the photos:
1. The sidebar showing at the end of the form just above the footer. How can I move it to the side. I tried choosing left/right from the control panel, but still showing down!
2. The link at the forumhome showing weird characters!! how to fix this and why they are showing.
I do appreciate your kindness helping me resolving these issues.

try using the default style and see if the issue persists. From what I can see, it is probably an issue with a custom style.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Try creating a new default theme and see if that solves it. As for the url, where are you seeing that?
It would be easier to help if we had your url.

It appears to me that your "FORUMHOME" template has been altered, putting the sidebar in the wrong place. Save a copy of your current "FORUMHOME" template, and then revert it to see if that clears up the issue. :)

There are many free styles that have been uploaded here, but I don't know of just headers being made available for download. :)

Shari,
Anytime you visit a thread, look at the very bottom see the "Similar Threads" with links? You mentioned "sidebar on all the forum pages" and sure enough, the mod by Joe showed up in the similar threads I see it now, very helpful feature imo :D.

Hi TheLastSuperman,
Apologies, I have looked at it but I am more interested in templates rather than MODs.
I use MOds last resort.
Once again, I do apologise for any inconvenience.
