Question about patch level

Hi all i am having a bit of a thick moment so apologies in advance.

At the moment i am currently running vBulletin version 4.2.1 Patch Level 1.I dont want to upgrade my forum at the moment to a newer version.

I want to keep my vbulletin 4.2.1 so this vBulletin 4 Security Patch issue do i just upload the Security Patch 4.2.3 Patch Level 1 from the Members' Area and override the 4.2.1 patch level 1.

Thanks buddy it looks like i have the correct patch installed then for my version of 4.2.1 i have patch level 1 for 4.2.1

Yes you do, however, thats an old unsupported version, and the more recent security issues are not patched in it. You need at least 4.2.2 otherwise you are open to those recent issues.
