The SawdustZone is a woodworking forum that has been around for 14 years. I upgraded the site to 5.2.2 this morning.

I created the style from scratch but the background images is from the vBulletin "Wood" style

Agreed, which is why I'm asking for reviews. Im my real life I'm a finance guy and if I do anything creative I go to jail.

I'm the young guy on the site at 51 and change comes hard, but I have a Ferrari at my fingertips and feel like I'm using to go to church on Sundays.

It's not bad, actually, but there are a few things I would suggest:

1) Edit the sprite sheets so your forum and thread status icons match the rest of the theme.

That default blue is an eyesore with your theme.

2) Consider either adding material to the sidebar or eliminating it altogether.

You have far too much "whitespace" on the right-hand side of the page because your index is excruciatingly long.

3) Consider shortening your index. That's a ridiculous amount of scrolling required on mobile devices. Maybe use sub-forums or condense categories.

If it can't be found on the first page without scrolling the odds someone will look for it go way down.

The color and layout looks good to me

but I would have some things need to be improved on your forum

- The logo ( like a banner than a logo )
- Background ( hard to read text )
- Hosting ( slow loading )

Just my 0.02 cents!

Looks good. The articles page mobile view could use some work making it a single column instead of two. VB5 responsive design lacks in this area but it should be addressed to make mobile viewing easier.

Thanks everyone for your input. It is greatly appreciated and has been helpful. Now I need to do the work to implement some changes.
