Hi, I've ran into a bit of an issue recently. I've allowed guests to post on my site and want to keep it that way. But I've ran into a few angry people who've spammed my site with porn as a guest. This is pretty annoying, especially considering I often check in on the site at work. For now I've been forced to disabled guest posting. But ideally I would like to prevent IMG and URL BB Code from displaying when it's used by a guest. I've seen this on another website, but can't begin to understand how to do it. I would think it would have been a preset setting in the Admin CP, but I could not find it. So I assume it has to be some custom code somewhere. Can anyone lend me a hand with this?

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Unregistered / Not Logged In -> Scroll down to 'BB Code' section -> Disable bb codes.
This is for vB 3.8.x, but i'm sure it's similar in newer versions.

Yeah, you'd think it'd be there. I was pretty sure it was there in older versions. But vBulletin 5 only has "signature permissions" for guests. Which is kind of silly, guests can't even set a signature to begin with. It does have BB Code options within the signature permissions settings, and they're all off. But it has no effect on the posts themselves.
