since impex is not supprted any more, do you have any plans to replace it? You are the only software without a convertor/importer.

I think it's very unlikely that a volunteer will continue to support Impex or that they will make a new converter.

why not it would increase thier profit whenn people with established forums like me switch to vb!

Definitely would increase their profit.

Thing is that it's a lot of work to make a converter for each forum software out there and then they also have to make sure it's being updated all the time when each forum software changes their table structure or release updates. That's probably the reason they discontinued it.

It's supported by Zachery in his spare time, have you spoken to him regarding a current issue with it or did you just want to know if "it will work with this software version ##" to import your software into vB before purchasing?

You can always fix it up and help support the ImPex, help Zachery out on it...give him some ideas about it.

Should buy a license as well to be able to work with him on adding it in there.

It's supported in his spare time, I cannot vouch for how much spare time he has available. Also please note while Zachery is a former employee, I'm not aware of any current employee being tasked with its upkeep or development - I may not be accurate in that statement is' based on what I currently know and if true then I fear not having a current importer is not good in the least.

I don't think Phillip meant it that way, I know how it "read" but I always try to see the positive as he was simply "saying" you could help Zachery and maybe get the results you wanted - I also see what you meant "pffft why pay if it won't do what I need it to do" in a sense but then again you may have never went pffft (that's in my head lol).
