Re admit users....

Our users table miraculously emptied itself of 5000 members the other day, anyone got any ideas how to add them back? all the posts and that are there and still showing the Usernames, we need somekind of script to add them all back, then we can validate them manually to people who they belong to.

Any ideas?

bben there and done that, its why im asking for a script, ive tried lots of things.

I have a backup plan but will only add 2500 ish, not the 5K i have.

Bugger, was wondering if anyone would be able to write one, i dotn know PHP or anything so im a bit buggered.

Hmm there is no way to get passwords back the only way i see of doing it is
Populating user table with people who posted as this will hold userid and username
all the options and home pages and sigs and passwords will be lost
I don't see a way of retrieving the emails to send the passwords to..

If we could pull them back in, we can then ask the users what their mail addys, once they are in we can set them back as active. The manual bit is the easy part, its pulling them back in thats the hard bit.
