View Full Version : Vbulletin Blog Issue

I get a strange issue recently from the blogs section of my vbulletin board.

going to website.com/blog.php instantly converts the url to website.com/blog.php/blog.php and displays all the newest blogs. Attempting to click any of the blogs either just refreshes the page or crashes the page.

Trying to post a new blog puts up a URL like this:

website.com/blog.php/blog.php/blog_post.php?do=newblog

I thought it might be a URL rewrite issue so I've completely turned off friendly URLs and disabled all of the rewrite plugins.

I don't really want to go to all the effort of disabling every single plugin one by one (we have quite a few) and Disabling hooks through the config file also disables the blogs. If no one has any better ideas, I'll just manually disable plugins to see if those are the problems but I figured I'd post in here to see if anyone else had similar issues or knows what the problem could be?

Any help would really be appreciated.

This one has me a bit stumped.

Information that May Pertain:

Error_log Error
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function prepare_blog_category_permissions() in /xxxxx/xxxxxx/public_html/includes/blog_init.php on line 32

So disabling friendly URL's and the rewrite rules didn't fix it?
Are the URL settings correctly configured in vBulletin's options?

I would suggest doing what you don't want to do which is disabling all the products and turning them on one-by-one to see which is causing the issue.
