Forum archives - How to delete archived information

I have had a few users that had information posted that needed to be deleted from the forum.

I delete the post on the forum side, but the Archive still holds the information on Google searches. These are the pages that end in the forum name here.com/archive/index.php

Can archive information be deleted and how?

I'm pretty sure when a thread is permanently deleted it is no longer available in the Archive? If it shows up in Google Searches this may be down to the cache they hold from your website and because their beloved bots haven't rescanned your site to check if it still exists.

I could be wrong, however.
