Recently upgraded to vB4.2.3 and we have a few bugs.
One of the most frustrating is when I go in to edit or modify someone's post, or sometimes just when I post (and I'm guessing the same with others, as there are double posts), it will kick me out and give me a page not found.
When I highlight the URL of this Page Not Found, it will have part of the URL, but not the entire thing.
An example would be
Correct:
http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/projects-progress/16506-too-wild-buggy-build-you-6.html#post316157
But it likes to do this instead:
http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/projects-progress/16506-too-wild-buggy-build-you-6
For some reason it's dropping the last parts of the post url.
Thoughts anyone?
Just for testing purposes, does it work when you disable your SEO plugin?

I have no clue.
There are a bunch of these three and four letter things - SEO, CMPS, CMS - that I have NO clue what they do or mean.
I'm pretty novice when it comes to the vBulletin admin areas. I hired someone to come in and help out with my upgrades.
Can you please explain what the SEO plug-in does?
Just for reference, my site is set up using DragonByte Tech SEO

One other aspect is that it's not a consistent action. I've tried to be aware of particulars that may or may not cause the page not found issue and there's nothing that seems to be of a common happening.

SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization". A lot of the mods do things like rewrite your URL's to be more friendly for search engines (amongst a lot of other things). Try going to your products section in AdminCP and searching for "SEO".

Virtually nothing with a new site. You can do more with social media in a month than SEO can do in a year. Especially now that Google has changed its algorithm once again to make keywords, tags, and links far more important than semantic html markup.

Just posted a response in a thread and it comes up with the page not found.
here's the URL for this:
http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/threads/19848-The-Mini-Raptor-K-fab-Style?p=316207#post316207
And here's the link that works:

I thought it was truncating part of the url, but it's throwing in extra stuff and capitalizing.

Did it again. Made a post on a thread and poof-kaboom. page not found
URL for page not found: http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/threads/13740-Badland-ST4-Build!?p=316372#post316372
Actual post URL: http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/st4/13740-badland-st4-build-9.html#post316372
So why is it throwing in extra coding?
