It's against the license agreement of vBulletin to use 1 license on multiple domain names though. You are only allowed to use your license on a single website domain. You'd have to buy a license for each domain.

Regarding the problem itself, it can easily be done with a couple of modifications.

dear i can understand . but i am just making my website mirrors . if one domain is inactive so users can access other domain i am not selling or distributing license to other person . as i explained i have 1 website and other domains i want to use for backup . same forum will be same content nothing else i think vBulletin doesn't metter if someone want to to it .

Yes, it will. Read the license agreement. 1 installation on 1 domain only. If you want to access the same forum through different domains (not redirecting those domains to one main domain), you need a seperate license for every single domain.

For them all to share the same database... I don't think I've seen that done yet. But yes you (probably) can have them all use the same database incase one site goes down so long as you have the money to buy each domain a license.

SEO-wise this would be insane. And honestly, how often do you have domain/routing issues for this to become necessary?
