THIS ADD-ON IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AND IS NOT SUPPORTED

Gmail is the only place I know of that allows dots in their email addresses, but all addresses with dots point to the same email address.

IE: your.name@gmail.com , you.r.name@gmail.com , and yo.ur.na.me@gmail.com , all point to one email address: yourname@gmail.com .

The same holds true for email addresses from gmail that contain a plus (+). This mod will take care or those too.

IE: your.name+yourfiles@gmail.com points to yourname@gmail.com.

vBulletin does not automatically account for this and allows mulitple registrations to each gmail address.

This plugin corrects that and only allows one registration to gmail addresses containing dots in the username.

* INSTALLATION *
----------------------
Import the product XML

There are no settings for this mod. But ACP->Settings->Options->User Registration Options: Require Unique Email Addresses must be set to 'Yes' for this to work.

Is ACP->Settings->Options->User Registration Options: Require Unique Email Addresses set to 'Yes'?
