CMS Unable to edit

When I click on edit on an article in the CMS, the article goes blank, leaving me unable to edit the article. Is there anyway I can fix this, so that the text will stop disappearing?

Im on VB 4.2.1

What version of PHP is on the server? When did this problem start - did anything change on the server or site at that time? What is in your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host) at the time this happens?

I just wanted to update here - the issue was corrected. It was ModSecure that was blocking some characters or a series of words, so we added some whitelisted rules and that fixed it.
