Vbulletin dissapeared from displaying and all files are still on server, no database error. Vers 3.89... No upgrades or changes made it just up and vanished. No 404 error, just "this page can not be displayed" domain and all subpages are fine. Someone got an idea?

What's the server status code? 200? 500?
Anything in the error logs of Apache/PHP?

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/xxxxx/public_html/forum/includes/config.php
Line: 1

No admin panel.. Tried to define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); in config.php

Tried overwriting fresh forum files, even tried a 4.2 version of vb I have aswell. no luck.

Deleted forum folder and I'm in the process of reupping the most current version I had.

It just originally dissapeared no message until I added the disable hooks, which led to the cookies/header error. when it first crashed blank page in IE, no 500 no 404 ect..

Line: 1That's typical result when editing the config.php file with something like notepad. That inserts a character on line one you cannot see with notepad, that crashes the config file.

Edit it with a real text editor like notepad++ or TextEdit.

That's caused by a BOM.

Just saved it in text++ same issue remains.

Ok, encoded config.php in UTF only without BOM, reuploaded and now I get a database error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/forum/dbtech/dbseo/includes/class_db.php on line 204

Removed Bom from Virgin config.php file saved, uploaded than the database error

I bolded the dbseo stuff you posted, because you shouldn't be having that active if you disabled hooks in config.

when it first crashed blank page in IE, no 500 no 404 ect..Did you happen to check it with other browsers, before doing all of the changes and attempts to restore the site? This could have been simple IE error itself, nothing wrong with the site itself.

Someone got an idea?I mean, since "this page can not be displayed" is a IE error the first thing I would have done is test my site with other browsers, then verified if it was up in the world by entering my URL into http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

The tiny bit of information you have given plus the fact that you didn't post the link to your site as requested makes it really difficult for anyone to help you.

As has been stated many times now, without a link to your site it's very difficult to suggest anything further.
