Folder locations

When I installed vB (currently 4.2.3) many years ago, I did not put the files into a folder such as /forum and through the years, this has caused some problems.

Is it too late to fix this? Can I now create a /forum folder and just move all the vB files and folders located at the root into it and change the menu links?

I'm replacing all of the site except for the forum and it would help if this was all cleaned up before doing the site work.

Yes, you can move all the files to another folder. It's important to point the URL's in the AdminCP to the new location though.
