VB 4.2.3 Full suite. CMS/Blog disabled.
My host moved me yesterday to another server box and gave me a dedicated IP. Since then there are major problems.
1> Remember me doesn't remember me. I leave and have to log in when I come back. It does this also when trying to get in the ACP.
2> All pictures in the threads are gone. Even the links. The pictures in the threads are linked to pictures in the albums.
3> The picture url's in the albums have the new numerical IP instead of the domain name. I can see and click on the thumbs but all I get is a small gray square and not the full sized image. The pictures are stored in the file system.
4> The avatars still show up. Oddly enough...
5> Can NOT get in to the ACP. I get the password challenge, but when I put in my password, it goes to the thank you for logging screen then back to the password challenge screen.
I have a feeling if I could get in the ACP I could fix things. Apparently some pointers have the domain name instead of the numerical IP.
I was under the impression the IP would resolve to the domain name in a day or two. I don't think this is the case with this dedicated IP.
I'm open to suggestions as to how to get in the ACP. Like I said, I think if I could get in, I could fix things. Or at least see what's going on and relay that to the host. I can get in to Cpanel with no problems.
