View Full Version : indexU v.3 inside
take a look at the new version of indexU, they have the same control panel as vBulletin...if this integrates with vB, that means you have the best dynamic driven website...you can import/export tables and make your own tables in the DB and view them...that means it will save you lots of time on hacks.

I'd love to see the hack release for this. I choose IndexU over In-Link for the price and features.

just FYI.....since no one has yet said a word.....
I have already bought this software, and REALLY want to get it's userbase integrated with VB....soo......
I will paypal $100.00 to the first person to deliver me a workable solution to letting the two packages sync users. (preferably having all registrations go through VB, but with the indexu accessing that userinfo.
ladyfyre, you may start at www.phpportals.com i think they integrated indexu with vBportal once, try here:

tried making a reply there, but it looks like they switched over and started pushing inlink instead of indexu, but i can honestly say after purchasing and installing indexu, i am MUCH more pleased with it's functionality than that of inlink.
Offer still stands....i will pay for this hack/implementation.

I will look at this when I get home tonight as I have version 3.0. How far do you want to go with this integration? Do you want integrate the templates as well or you just want the user integration?

preferably, both would be integrated...but if not possible, I can settle for the necessities.

Well, I just d/l another copy and see over 216 templates in the new version 3.0.3. So I would say that the user integration would be it as the templates would require alot of work and time.

I stopped supporting IndexU because.
1. Although I was an affiliate, they never paid me one dime for any of the sales that were generated from my site and there were more than a few.
2. They didn't respond to any of my emails requesting payment.
3. They ignored the users that purchased thru my site, I had complaints of very little support or no support at all, I was being left to support their product.

Take a closer look and you will see more than the control panel that looks more than a little like vbulletin... From their $DB_site class right to the functions lib. Of course there are only so many ways of doing things :)
