my Version : 3.8.9
i have started this thread here :

but i did NOT get any reply from the coder. i think that even if it is compatible with my version , it seems that my php version is not compatible, so :
I want to have notifications like Facebook (drop down menu) for replies to threads notifications( important).
Messages , friend request, likes ... ( not that important)
Is there any product /mod that can do this for me for 3.8.9 ? i am willing to buy if there is such a thing.
