Overgrow karma hack on 2.2.0?

I installed overgrow's excellent karma hack on 2.0.3 and then upgraded to 2.2.0 and the karma icon dissappeared. Does anyone know how I would reinstate it? Thanks in advance.

If you just upgraded using the files they provided, you are going to have to re-install it seeing you overwrote parts (if not all) of it. When you upgrade, you uploaded the new files that didn't have the hack in it, so that's why it isn't being displayed.

I think the problem I am having is that the code in the new 2.2.0 is so different that I can't figure out where to add the karma hack code to make it work. In the meantime, I am afraid I have made a big mess of my board. There were many others who purchased the karma hack, anyone had any success updating it to 2.2.0?

No, you need to go through, downloading all the files you needed to before, and modifying them.

Dalius, were you able to get karma working on 2.2.0 because I downloaded the files did a search for the code mentioned on the karma modification php and I couldn't find the old code because it had been changed. Let me know if you were successful and I will attempt it again (I could very easily have done something wrong)? Thank you for the reply.

I just got overgrow's karma hack workin on 2.2.1 for me

I think the only thing I had to change was when editing admin/index.php

I also had a problem with usercp.php

but i think I was just being stupid while making the hacks.... if you have a problem just ask and i will tell you how to fix this.

I dont think overgrow would have a problem with me posting that stuff.... since it contain's none of his source code...

Oh, I forgot to mention are you using karma 1.1 or 1.0?

I used the 1.1 upgrade and karma worked on 2.2.0 but the usercp, avatars and new registrations didn't work. Overgrow was very helpful in helping me get everything working again except we haven't been able to get karma working on 2.2.1. Everytime there is an upgrade the code changes so much that I can never know where to insert the karma code. I have put so much time in that it might be time I just give up :( . I will try your suggestions however.
