Display Category Descriptions

Hi,

How do I enable or show Category Descriptions? As is now, they appear as a balloon when hovering over them.

For example, I wish to have:

Of The Word Of God
and under it: Discuss the forms of the Word of God, the Canon of Scripture, Inerrancy, and the Characteristics of Scripture.

You can enable them by editing the options...

AdminPC > Settings > options > Forum Listings Display Options > Show Forum Descriptions in Forum Listings = YES

PS. In some custom style this may not work as the designers some times remove this option in the style.

I do have Show Descriptions in Forum Listings set to yes. I am using Paragon aftermarket theme. However, when I reverted back to even the default template, descriptions were not showing.

I'd really like to get this to work in my paragon template. As is now the descriptions only appear as a balloon when hovered over the category titles.

Your theme is using jquery to display Forum Descriptions. You can make be add the default code back to templates and description should show up normally.

I thank you, but I have no idea what to do. Is this something you may wish to do as a side job?
