What would be the best and easiest way to upgrade my very hacked board?

Here what hacks i have installed (there could be a few that i forgot):

Syndicate hack
vbStats
Posting Redirect
Refresh hack
Hidden Post hack
Sponsor hack
Signature Editor
Stars Hack
Profile Picture
Flag Hack
Admin Hacks

heh but to tell the truth the best way to upgrade is look at the code you have edited and lok at the upgrade scripts and see if it would comflit with any of them

Get a good diff program. I recommend Araxis Merge, specifically the one that supports three way merges.

Yeah, I recommend upgrading then rehacking. I rehacked the files before uploading them and then upgrading and i had some "technical" difficulties.

I rehacked the files before uploading them and then upgrading and i had some "technical" difficulties. i agree upgrade and rehack starting from the hacks that are proven to work with 2.2.0 - since some hacks might not work with 2.2.0 and using beyondcompare or Araxis Merge you'd copy code over from a hack which doesn't work with 2.2.0 and mess up

Is there not a way to upgrade only the very important things that needs to be upgraded like the security issue?

I have also a board full of hacks, even more than the starter of this thread.

Do anybody know also when version 3 will be available and is it not better to wait for that version in cases like hacked boards as we have?

In case of important security fixes (like this, and 2.0.3 at that time), I strongly recommend upgrading. I have 52 hacks installed from this forum, and many more custom stuff I made, but I'm still going to upgrade later today / tomorrow.
