So upon changing domain from myolddomain to mynewdomain everything went good. Well i thought. I did what was said here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=320303 also created addon domain in cpanel and copied over my files. Went to the site and everything looked great until i clicked on admin cp and got an error. I went back to check file manager and it was gone. What did i do? How can i fix it?

You went to the file manager and your files are not there?
It usually takes a little time for the new domain to propagate. Are you sure it is propagated and the new domain is pointing to the ip of the server?

All files are there except admincp. Im going to download a backup admincp and see if that would work

Dude, why don't you just leave your stuff alone and let it run? You have more self-generated problems than anyone I have ever seen.

One thing to think about.. By switching your domain you will lose all the seo you had, page rank, etc. You can forward the domain or redirect but it is not a good idea unless going from a different extension, for example the same domain with a .net to a .com.
Why are you moving your site to a new domain anyways?

If the directory is gone, then add it back. (But, I have to wonder why it just disappeared - don't you find that weird?)
