Hoew I can create new widget type

Hi dears

I want to create new CMS widget types, I added the 2 files to widget folders, and add the widget type manually to database, without any luck, so could you please explain how we can add new widget type?

We need more info than that. It really depends on what the widget it and what you are trying to do. In some cases you may need to add a plugin for the widget or something else. It would really help to have a detailed explanation of what it is you are trying to do or else its really difficult for anyone to help you.

Thank you HM666 for your reply, for waht I want let we say I want to create a new widget type to display the most articles viewed, I don't want to use php widget type to do this, I want an interface to select section/categories by my self, so how I can build this widget??

You are probably going to need some sort of php plugin for that as that is not something that you can do with HTML, at least I do not think so.
