Well, I've yet to purchase vBulletin and before I do that I need to know a few things.
I'm starting a gaming network with game servers and everything and I thought why not add a vB forum for the project as well.
The thing is, I'd like to imitate the following structure and concepts of Ubisoft's official forums because the appear to fit my project idea.

Ubisoft example link:
http://forums.ubi.com/forum.php

What I'm asking?
I'm asking if there are available mods/guides of template editing for the following modifications and features.

-A clean professional "boxy" theme like they have (not to the detail, something a-like).
-Ability to display only the categories on the main page with CUSTOM images.
-Ability to change background and header images for each category (when viewing the category/sub-forums).

Thank you for your time and best regards,
Core.

Not familiar with whatever add-on they are using, likely it is custom.

For someone killed in HTML a custom main page like that really would not be too difficult with VB5, without the use of add-ons. Just create a new page, make it the default page, then add a static HTML module where the forum image links are coded in by hand.

Um, I have an idea of to do that in mind so I guess I'll be able to take care of the modding, probably in a different way (perhaps doing it more dynamically).

As for a theme of a similar style/structure, do you happen to know any?

I'm sorry I'm not that familiar with available styles/themes. Doesn't look like anything I recognize.

I'm not aware of any plugin modifications, but you can get it done by creating a fresh new forum theme.

It is achieve-able only with template modifications, without plugins
